Nazareth Men’s Soccer has become one of the Empire 8’s premier programs under Head Coach Matt Tantalo, who enters his 11th season in 2026. During his tenure, the Golden Flyers have earned Empire 8 Championships in 2019 and 2021, secured NCAA Tournament berths in both seasons, and delivered record-setting unbeaten streaks of 13 and 14 games. The program has also made 10 consecutive Empire 8 Tournament appearances, including back-to-back 10-win seasons in 2022 and 2023.

This excellence extends off the pitch, as well. Six members of the Nazareth men's soccer team were been named to the 2025 Academic All-District team, a recognition for the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Overall, Men's Soccer boasts a team GPA of 3.56, an impressive achievement.

As the program continues its rise, your support plays a direct and meaningful role in enhancing the student-athlete experience and expanding what our team can achieve.

This year, we are seeking support for two key initiatives that will elevate our program:

• International trip
  This year, the team will embark on an overseas trip that offers unmatched opportunities for growth, cultural immersion, team bonding, and international competition. These experiences broaden perspectives, strengthen team chemistry, and create memories that last a lifetime—but they require significant financial support to make them possible for all student-athletes.

• Upgraded technology for analytics
  Today’s soccer programs increasingly rely on technology and data to help athletes train smarter and compete at a higher level. Wearable technology can measure workload, speed, distance, and recovery, while video analysis gives coaches and players a deeper look at individual and team performance. These tools provide valuable insights that can inform training, improve preparation, reduce injury risk, and help student-athletes reach their full potential.
